Try new experiences, leave your comfort zone

Today’s post is about experiences, it won’t be about my outfit, my hair or anything similar (total look Zara basics). Since my childhood I was a brave person, I loved doing different things and I enjoyed having new experiences.

Last week Leo asked me to take hime to a skatepark for a University project. When we finished, he asked me if I wanted to try it, and after much hesitation I said yes. I had never been into an skatepark and I can’t express with words how much fun that was. I loved this new experience, so much that I want to repeat. I wasn’t confident to stand up on a bike but I didn’t fall over.

That experience made me think in all the times I said that I didn’t want to do something that I never had done before. If I didn’t blog I wouldn’t know how much I love it. And that is why I encourage you to try new experiences, to leave you comfort zone.

I love the message in this post – ‘there’s nothing to fear but fear myself’ after all! I’ve often looked at skateparks and imagined how much fun they’d be, though it’s not something I’ve ever personally considered. I really like the final image in this post by the way, you look so deep in thought.
