Pumpkin & Chickpeas Vegan Hummus

This is the best paté/hummus I think I’ve ever try… vegan or not it’s the bomb! The thing is that a few months ago I didn’t like the normal hummus ( the one with chickpeas and spices). And now I love to make different combinations to try. I would say that this is the sweetest of all, pumpkin adds a nice flavour… and the best thing is that it takes 15 minutes to prepare it and do it. Also you can make it oil-free using a non-stick pan and a little water to cook the vegetables.

Why use vegan pate? You can eat it with raw vegetables as snacks. Use it as a base in a sandwich. You can dress your salads by making a little less thick. It serves to accompany tofu, beans, or any other source of protein in your toast, to cover vegetables baked…

 INGREDIENTS:

  • 100gr  pumpkin
  • 1/3       of a chickpeas jar
  • 1/2       onion
  • 1           piece of garlic
  • 1 tbs    seeds (your favorites)

PASOS:

  1. Cut the veggies and sauté the onion with the garlic in a pan with a little bit of water.
  2. Mix vegetables with Blender or food processor until everything is incorporated. Then add the chickpeas and spices (optional).
  3. Add seeds to taste and serve!
